Sandeso - translation (devnagari to english): "message with love, from artisans". Our founder, Sakshi Pareek Raval was born and raised in Jaipur, India. She was born in the middle of art and cultural heritage with her lineage tracing back to promoters of arts and culture in Jaipur, since the post independence era. She now designs in Wellington, Palm Beach and Jaipur. Our ethos is promotion of our indigenous techniques and crafts, and to bridge the gap between art, artisans and its admirers. We have established an alternative model for ethical, social and environmental welfare by incorporating artisanal techniques. Translating this philosophy into our business model we pledged for 2% of all proceeds of our sales towards the artisans who meticulously make our products. An additional 2% is directed towards educational development of underprivileged children in India. SANDESO JAIPUR, focusses on 100% handmade bespoke lifestyle products - sophisticated modern designs for garments using handloom techniques of artisans of India, home and dining products made by generational artisans - all inspired by the rich traditions of hand-craftsmanship from the erstwhile Jaipur state. Our designs are made with the highest organic 100% organic cotton, wool, cashmere, ceramics, chiffon, organza and silk. Our rugs are 100% hand woven pieces of art. We work meticulously to preserve art forms indigenous to Jaipur.
